I was fortunate to have been able to call Annie my friend. She was probbly the most generous person I have ever met. She gave freely of her time and her resources to those she loved (or even liked) and was always ready with a kind word and a cup of coffee for passing friends and strangers alike. Her house was always a happy place and she loved to surround herself with humans of every variety, along with scads of dogs cats and horses.
My heart goes out to Todd and Gigi and Alec. It is always a terrible loss when a parent passes away but to lose one so special must hurt so much more. I wish I had Annie’s ease of expression so that I could do justice to the sadness I feel. Goodbye, Annie, we’re all poorer for your passing.
